Why this site exists
Good maths help should not depend on how much a family can spend. BreakingDownMaths breaks each topic into small, clear steps so any student can open it and start learning straight away.
Lessons and practice questions are designed so you can attempt the maths first, then check your working and understand where marks are won.
Who built it
The site is built by an experienced UK maths teacher with 16+ years in the classroom, and a former structural engineer. That mix means the explanations aim to be exam-ready, and to show where the maths is used in the real world.
